Male Hawke’s voice bugs me because he sounds too much like a ‘superhero’, if you will. He doesn’t sound like a ‘normal’ person, compared to his family and Aveline and Female Hawke. The voice of Female Hawke also matches what she looks like no matter how radically different I change her looks from Hawke to Hawke. Male Hawke on the other hand only fits one type of look, really. Gruff and scruffy and stuff.

I do like one thing though.

He and Female Hawke emote similarly.

His steps were brisk—as they always were—clattering on the pristine floor as he made his way down the hallways. Nobody was in the halls, as per his orders, all waiting in a separate room close-by without question. The man stepped into the biggest room in the entire facility, walking to the edge of the lone bed without a break in his stride.

The cameras were off, he was alone, but he still kept his emotions buried within the cavity of his heart.

He would bring his little girl back. Give her another life. He wouldn’t lose her again.

The blood from his temple ran down his face, before dripping onto the floor. He couldn’t even feel the pain—he was too angry. They took his wife… his wife and he’d been powerless to stop them. The crackling of the fire slowly building around him seemed to laugh, called him weak, pitiful.

Then he heard it—his daughter screaming, pleading. She was in the field.

The man grit his teeth and ignored his reeling head, ignored the flames. He moved his worn and tattered body as fast as he could—he would never let them break his little girl.
